What can’t be fixed

On the advice of a fellow friend and widow, I picked up a book, a grief journal titled “How to Carry What Can’t Be Fixed”. It’s a grief journal, with lots of guidance and writing and drawing prompts. It’s written by Megan Devine, the author of “It’s OK That You’re Not OK”. I have that book as well and ordered it last year, however it sits on my shelf most of the time, reading it has proven to be difficult to get through.  However I’m optimistic about the grief journal – hoping it will provide an outlet for my grief and maybe help me process it fully and completely.

I’m only through the first chapter, but it’s already given me some ideas for posts and I think I will be incorporating some of the exercises in this blog.
