Unfortunately, the web has changed rapidly in the last 5 years and I&#8217;m not even sure if anyone keeps a blog anymore, I mean, everyone&#8217;s got a podcast or a TikTok now. However, I&#8217;m an old soul; a Generation X old schooler and blogs are my jam. I&#8217;ve grown tired of the social media platforms, so here I am, standing on my own platform.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n<p>Now, for the genesis of this platform, recently, I lost my husband and I&#8217;ve found myself with lots of time and a large void where I used to share my thoughts. Finding resources online for recently widowed individuals is hit and miss, and I just decided write through my journey, in the hopes of helping others, if anyone ever finds this blog. \ud83d\ude09 I won&#8217;t be posting exclusively about grief or loss, but that is a main focus for me sitting down to create this.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n<p>Depending on when you&#8217;ve found this little first post, I am building this blog around my posts, so if you see changes, just know that it&#8217;s a work in progress..or a deconstruction of the foundation. Loss tends to skew your viewpoint.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>Okay, the awkward first post is done, now onto other things.
